Salvation by the Grace of God – Titus 2: 11-14

Titus 2: 11-14

Grace is something God gives us freely. We don’t deserve it, we can’t earn it, it’s not something that we will receive if we pray for it. We receive it unexpectedly from God. It’s a divine assistance given by God.

Salvation is one of those wonderful graces that God offers to all people. Every person who has or will ever live will be offered the gift of salvation.

Once taken, it will change us! Every time we do something or attempt to do or say something that would not be pleasing to God, we will feel the conviction from the Holy Spirit. It is not that we will be made to act accordingly, nor will we be pressured into giving up our wordily lusts. With the acceptance of Jesus in our lives, we will want to change.

Some people are instantly changed and with others it’s a slower process, but regardless of the time frame, every person who truly accepts the gift of salvation will change for the better.

When we become God’s children, the sacrifice Jesus made for us on the cross will become real to us. We will begin to understand, with our minds and our hearts, that Jesus took all of our sins to the grave with Him.

Jesus’ part for our salvation was horrific. Our part is easy and free. It’s simple; believe with faith that God is our Father who sent his Son for our salvation and that Jesus willingly accepted.

Christians are blessed to be children of God, through Jesus and also blessed that the Holy Spirit lives in us, convicting us every time we start to wander off the narrow path that leads to God.

Jesus will be coming one day soon to gather up his followers, it will be a time when Christians will see that glorious appearing and go to be with Jesus.

Glory to you Father

Thank you for bringing salvation to me and offering salvation to every person on earth.

Originally I thought that I came to you and asked you to accept me into Heaven but now, as a Christian, I know I did not seek you but you called out to me and I had the option to either accept or refuse.

Jesus gave up His life for our salvation and our redemption. He himself became our sacrificial Lamb, so that we could be redeemed from our sins and He purifies those who are your children.

Thank you Father that I am now counted as your child and I pray that others will also accept the gift of life, that Jesus made possible.

As a Christian it is both my privilege and my duty to stay away from ungodly things and worldly lusts. Unfortunately, it doesn’t always work out that way. As a human being, I fail many times, in many ways.

However, with your grace and forgiveness, I do step right back up and am encouraged to live a life in a righteous and godly manner, the way You intended.

May I always live with the zeal for you Father. May others see the wonderful love I have for you, possibly encouraging them that they too will want you in their lives.

Thank you Father, that I now have the Holy Spirit living inside me, to be my helper, to gently guide me and advise me. To be my inner voice, reminding me of right and wrong, and always encouraging me to take the best way.

I look forward to the glorious appearance of Jesus.

I will praise your name, now and forever.

In the mighty name of The Lord Jesus Christ I pray.

I look forward to the day when Jesus, our Saviour will come back for Christians. Are you ready? If you want to know about salvation, please read this.
